Flow Cytometry (FACS), Immunohistochemistry (Frozen Sections) (IHC (fro))

Clone

TLD-3H12B
  • Specificity

This antibody recognises beta-2 Microglobulin, expressed at the surface of most cells in association with MHC Class I molecules.

    Purification

    Affinity Chromatography on Protein G.

    Immunogen

Rat microglial cells. Spleen cells from immunised BALB/c mice were fused with cells of the mouse MOM myeloma cell line.

    Isotype

    IgG1
  • Application Notes

Flow Cytometry: 1/10 - 1/20, use 10 μL of suggested working dilution to label 1x10^6 cells in 100 μL. Immunohistochemistry on frozen sections.
    Other applications not tested.
Optimal dilutions are dependent on conditions and should be determined by the user.

  • Target

    beta-2 Microglobulin (B2M) (beta-2-Microglobulin (B2M))

    Alternative Name

    beta-2-Microglobulin

    Background

Beta 2 Microglobulin non-covalently associates with the 44 kDa alpha chain to form the HLA Class I antigen complex. Human beta 2 Microglobulin associated with HLA Class I antigens are expressed on many types of cells including lymphocytes, thymocytes, monocytes, granulocytes, platelets, endothelial cells, and epithelial cells. It is absent on erythrocytes.Synonyms: B2M, Beta 2 microglobulin, Beta-2 microglobulin
